- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups (about 8 oz / 225 g) elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 3 cups water or beef broth (for cooking pasta in sauce)
Brown the Beef : In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.Drain excess fat if necessary.
