Instructions

  • Peel, core, and dice the apples.
  • Mix rolled oats, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  • Whisk milk, maple syrup, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the oats and stir until combined.
  • Fold in the diced apples and optional nuts or dried fruit.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Add optional nuts and cinnamon on top.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
