For the Brownie Bites:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
For Decoration:
- 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- 8–10 chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos), halved to form wings
- Candy eyes (or mini white chocolate chips with a dot of melted chocolate)
- Optional: sprinkles or edible glitter
Make the Brownie Base Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually fold into wet ingredients until just combined. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let brownies cool completely before cutting.
Cut and Shape Use a small round cookie cutter (or cut into squares) for bite-sized pieces.
Decorate the Bat Bites Spread a small dollop of chocolate frosting on each brownie bite. Insert cookie halves into the sides as bat wings. Place candy eyes on the frosting top. Add sprinkles or glitter for extra spookiness.
