Ingredients
For the Stir-Fry:
450 g beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
3 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tbsp water or beef broth
1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch until smooth.
Cook the Beef: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables: In the same pan, add onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until fragrant, then add cabbage and cook until slightly tender.
Combine and Finish: Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss until everything is well coated and glossy.
