Ingredients
For the Salmon
4 salmon fillets (4–6 oz each), skin removed
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Chipotle Mayo
½ cup mayonnaise
1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo, finely minced
1 tsp lime juice
Salt to taste
For the Sandwich
4 sandwich buns or brioche buns, lightly toasted
4 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, sliced
¼ red onion, thinly sliced
Optional: pickles or avocado slices
Instructions
Prep salmon and spices: Mix blackened seasoning and coat salmon fillets.
Make chipotle mayo: Combine mayo, chipotle, lime juice, and salt; refrigerate.
Cook salmon: Heat oil in skillet, sear salmon 4–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
Toast buns: Lightly toast sandwich buns for extra crunch.
Assemble: Spread chipotle mayo, layer lettuce, tomato, onion, place salmon, top with bun.
Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
