Ingredients
  

  • For the Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets (4–6 oz each), skin removed
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For the Chipotle Mayo
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo, finely minced
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Sandwich
  • 4 sandwich buns or brioche buns, lightly toasted
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • Optional: pickles or avocado slices

Instructions
 

  • Prep salmon and spices: Mix blackened seasoning and coat salmon fillets.
  • Make chipotle mayo: Combine mayo, chipotle, lime juice, and salt; refrigerate.
  • Cook salmon: Heat oil in skillet, sear salmon 4–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Toast buns: Lightly toast sandwich buns for extra crunch.
  • Assemble: Spread chipotle mayo, layer lettuce, tomato, onion, place salmon, top with bun.
  • Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
