Step 1: Preheat the Oven : Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside the oven while it heats up.
Step 2: Prepare the Bacon : Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble into small pieces. Set aside.
Step 3: Roll Out the Dough : On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a 12–14 inch circle. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush with olive oil to help the crust crisp up.
Step 4: Add the Base Layer : Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough. Add the crumbled bacon over the cheese layer.
Step 5: Add the Eggs : Create 3–4 small wells in the toppings and crack one egg into each well. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and a bit of Parmesan over the top. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Bake the Pizza : Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the egg whites are just set. For runny yolks, remove around 10 minutes. For firmer eggs, bake closer to 15 minutes.
Step 7: Garnish and Serve : Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives. Slice and serve warm.
