Ingredients
For the Lobster Filling
450 g cooked lobster meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Rolls
4 split-top hot dog buns or brioche rolls
2 tablespoons butter for toasting
Optional Additions
Finely chopped celery for crunch
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
If not already cooked, boil or steam the lobster and remove the meat from the shells. Chop into bite-sized pieces.
In a skillet over low heat, melt the butter gently without browning it.
Add the lobster meat to the skillet and warm it slowly, stirring gently to coat it with butter.
Stir in lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.
In a separate pan, melt the remaining butter and toast the rolls on all sides until golden.
Fill each toasted roll generously with the warm lobster mixture.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
