Buttery Lobster Rolls with Fresh Dill

Ingredients
  

  • For the Lobster Filling
  • 450 g cooked lobster meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For the Rolls
  • 4 split-top hot dog buns or brioche rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter for toasting
  • Optional Additions
  • Finely chopped celery for crunch
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • If not already cooked, boil or steam the lobster and remove the meat from the shells. Chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a skillet over low heat, melt the butter gently without browning it.
  • Add the lobster meat to the skillet and warm it slowly, stirring gently to coat it with butter.
  • Stir in lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.
  • In a separate pan, melt the remaining butter and toast the rolls on all sides until golden.
  • Fill each toasted roll generously with the warm lobster mixture.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
