Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken Dumplings
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cups finely chopped napa cabbage or bok choy
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon white or black pepper
  • 30–35 dumpling wrappers
  • For the Soy Vinegar Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or black vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili oil, optional
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped green onions

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the filling by mixing ground chicken with vegetables, aromatics, and seasonings.
  • Step 2: Lay out dumpling wrappers on a clean surface.
  • Step 3: Add filling to the center of each wrapper without overfilling.
  • Step 4: Moisten wrapper edges with water and fold, pleating as desired.
  • Step 5: Seal dumplings tightly to prevent leakage.
  • Step 6: Steam dumplings for 10–12 minutes, boil for 6–8 minutes, or pan-fry until golden and cooked through.
  • Step 7: Stir together soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, chili oil, and green onions.
  • Step 8: Serve dumplings immediately with dipping sauce.
