Ingredients

  • For the Chocolate Crust:
  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos, crushed)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Peanut Butter Filling:
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • For the Chocolate Ganache Layer (optional but recommended!):
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • For the Topping:
  • Additional whipped topping (8 oz)
  • Chocolate shavings or drizzle (optional)
  • Crushed peanuts or mini peanut butter cups (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1 — Make the Crust : Combine crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish to form a smooth crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  • Step 2 — Create the Peanut Butter Filling : Beat cream cheese and peanut butter in a bowl until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix again. Fold in whipped topping gently, maintaining a fluffy texture. Spread filling evenly into the chilled crust.
  • Step 3 — Add Chocolate Ganache (Optional but divine!) Heat heavy cream until warm, then pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and glossy. Pour over peanut butter filling and spread gently.
  • Step 4 — Top It Off : Spread whipped topping over the pie. Garnish with chocolate drizzle, shavings, or peanut butter cups.
  • Step 5 — Chill : Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture.
