For the Chocolate Ganache Layer (optional but recommended!):
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream
For the Topping:
Additional whipped topping (8 oz)
Chocolate shavings or drizzle (optional)
Crushed peanuts or mini peanut butter cups (optional)
Instructions
Step 1 — Make the Crust : Combine crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish to form a smooth crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Step 2 — Create the Peanut Butter Filling : Beat cream cheese and peanut butter in a bowl until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix again. Fold in whipped topping gently, maintaining a fluffy texture. Spread filling evenly into the chilled crust.
Step 3 — Add Chocolate Ganache (Optional but divine!) Heat heavy cream until warm, then pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and glossy. Pour over peanut butter filling and spread gently.
Step 4 — Top It Off : Spread whipped topping over the pie. Garnish with chocolate drizzle, shavings, or peanut butter cups.
Step 5 — Chill : Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture.
