  • 4 oz Cheddar
  • 4 oz Gouda
  • 4 oz Blue cheese
  • 4 oz Goat cheese
  • Fruits:
  • 1 cup grapes (red or green)
  • 1 apple, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup fresh figs or berries
  • Crackers and Bread:
  • 1 box assorted crackers
  • 1 small baguette, sliced and toasted
  • Extras:
  • 1/4 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

Instructions

  • Select Your Cheeses: Choose a variety of textures and flavors—soft, semi-soft, hard, and blue cheeses—for balance.
  • Prep the Cheese: Cut soft cheeses into wedges, hard cheeses into cubes or slices, and form goat cheese into small rounds.
  • Prepare Fruits: Wash grapes, slice apples, and arrange fresh or dried fruits in small clusters.
  • Prepare Crackers and Bread: Toast baguette slices for added texture and leave crackers in their original shape for easy picking.
  • Assemble the Platter: Arrange cheeses with space in between and fill gaps with fruits, nuts, and crackers.
  • Add Condiments: Include small bowls of honey or fig jam.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle fresh herbs around for color and aroma.
  • Serve: Place the platter in the center of the table and let guests enjoy.
