Ingredients

  • For the Fruit Salad:
  • 1½ cups watermelon, cubed or balled
  • 1½ cups cantaloupe, cubed or balled
  • 1½ cups honeydew melon, cubed or balled
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup raspberries or blackberries
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • For the Honey-Lime Dressing:
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon lime zest (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Fruits : Wash all fruits gently and pat dry. Cut the melons into bite-sized cubes or use a melon baller for a more elegant presentation. Hull and halve the strawberries; keep the smaller berries whole.
  • Step 2: Make the Honey-Lime Dressing : In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, and lime zest. Taste and adjust sweetness — you can add a touch more honey or lime depending on preference.
  • Step 3: Assemble the Salad : In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruits. Pour the honey-lime dressing over the fruits. Toss gently using a spatula to coat everything evenly without crushing the berries.
  • Step 4: Garnish and Chill : Garnish with a few fresh mint leaves. Chill in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
