Ingredients

  • For the Salmon:
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • For the Garlic Parmesan Crust:
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • Preparing the Salmon: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper. Place fillets on a greased baking sheet or in an oven-safe skillet. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
  • Preparing the Garlic Parmesan Crust: In a small bowl, combine Parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, paprika, and black pepper. Add melted butter to the mixture and stir until well combined. Press the topping onto the top of each salmon fillet, creating an even crust.
  • Baking the Salmon: Bake in preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature 145°F) and the crust is golden and crispy. Optional: For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
