Ingredients
  

  • For the Bulgogi Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Bulgogi Sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • For the Sticky Rice
  • 1½ cups short-grain rice
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • For Garnish
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced green onions

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Rinse and cook the sticky rice until tender.
  • Step 2: Mix all meatball ingredients and shape into balls.
  • Step 3: Brown the meatballs in a skillet until fully cooked.
  • Step 4: Prepare the bulgogi sauce in the same pan.
  • Step 5: Thicken the sauce and coat the meatballs evenly.
  • Step 6: Serve meatballs over sticky rice with garnish.
