Ingredients
  

  • For the Chili Mac:
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Cook Ground Beef : Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  • Step 2: Sauté Vegetables : Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  • Step 3: Make the Chili : Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, and spices. Simmer 10–15 minutes until thickened.
  • Step 4: Mix with Pasta : Combine cooked macaroni with chili in a large bowl and stir to coat evenly.
  • Step 5: Bake : Place mixture in a greased baking dish, top with cheeses, and bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
