Ingredients
  

  • For the Samosa Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil or ghee
  • ½ cup water, as needed
  • For the Beef and Potato Filling
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • For Frying
  • Vegetable oil, for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough : Combine flour and salt, rub in oil until crumbly, then add water gradually to form a firm dough. Cover and rest.
  • Prepare the Filling : Heat oil, sauté cumin seeds, onion, garlic, and ginger. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in spices, potatoes, salt, and cilantro. Cook briefly and cool.
  • Shape the Samosas : Divide dough, roll into circles, cut in half, form cones, fill, and seal edges.
  • Fry the Samosas : Deep fry over medium heat until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
