- 2 cups heavy cream
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or vanilla bean paste)
- 2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- For the Strawberry Sauce
- 1½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Bloom gelatin in cold water and set aside.
Heat cream and sugar gently until sugar dissolves.
