Ingredients
For the Mini Meatballs
1 lb ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
1 large egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons milk
1 small onion, finely grated or minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
For the BBQ Glaze
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a large bowl, mix together all the meatball ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Roll the meat mixture into mini meatballs, about 1 inch wide.
Arrange the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until browned and mostly cooked through.
Meanwhile, whisk together all BBQ glaze ingredients in a bowl.
Remove the meatballs from the oven, brush them generously with the BBQ glaze, and return them to the oven for an additional 8–10 minutes.
Once caramelized and sticky, remove and serve warm.
