1 apple, diced (tossed with a little lemon juice to prevent browning)
1 orange, peeled and segmented (optional)
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
For the Honey-Lime Dressing:
3 tablespoons honey
Juice and zest of 2 limes
1 tablespoon orange juice (optional, for extra brightness)
½ teaspoon finely grated ginger (optional, for a zesty kick)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Fruits : Wash all fruits thoroughly under cold water. Hull and halve the strawberries. Peel and chop the pineapple, watermelon, kiwi, and apple into bite-sized pieces. Separate orange segments and remove any seeds. Combine all the fruits in a large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Make the Honey-Lime Dressing : In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, lime zest, and orange juice (if using). Add a touch of grated ginger for an extra layer of flavor (optional). Taste and adjust — add more honey for sweetness or lime for tang.
Step 3: Combine and Toss : Pour the dressing over the prepared fruits. Gently toss with a large spoon until the fruits are evenly coated. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes for the flavors to meld.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve : Just before serving, sprinkle with fresh mint leaves. Give a gentle toss and serve chilled.
