Ingredients

  • For the Fruit Salad:
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1½ cups blueberries
  • 1½ cups pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup seedless grapes (green or red)
  • 1½ cups watermelon cubes
  • 1 cup kiwi slices (about 2–3 kiwis)
  • 1 apple, diced (tossed with a little lemon juice to prevent browning)
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • For the Honey-Lime Dressing:
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • Juice and zest of 2 limes
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice (optional, for extra brightness)
  • ½ teaspoon finely grated ginger (optional, for a zesty kick)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Fruits : Wash all fruits thoroughly under cold water. Hull and halve the strawberries. Peel and chop the pineapple, watermelon, kiwi, and apple into bite-sized pieces. Separate orange segments and remove any seeds. Combine all the fruits in a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: Make the Honey-Lime Dressing : In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, lime zest, and orange juice (if using). Add a touch of grated ginger for an extra layer of flavor (optional). Taste and adjust — add more honey for sweetness or lime for tang.
  • Step 3: Combine and Toss : Pour the dressing over the prepared fruits. Gently toss with a large spoon until the fruits are evenly coated. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes for the flavors to meld.
  • Step 4: Garnish and Serve : Just before serving, sprinkle with fresh mint leaves. Give a gentle toss and serve chilled.
