Ingredients
  

  • For the Pork Curry Filling
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 medium potato, peeled and diced small
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • For the Pastry
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Stir in curry powder, turmeric, and chili powder. Cook briefly to release aroma.
  • Add ground pork and cook until browned.
  • Add diced potato, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and water. Simmer until potatoes are tender and mixture is thick.
  • Remove filling from heat and allow it to cool completely.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or circles.
  • Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry piece.
  • Fold pastry over filling, seal edges with a fork, and brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
