Roasted Garlic Parmesan Pork Chops

Ingredients
  

  • For the Roasted Garlic
  • 1 whole garlic bulb
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • For the Pork Chops
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops, about 2.5 cm thick
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • For the Parmesan Topping
  • Roasted garlic cloves, mashed
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Slice the top off the garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft.
  • Season the pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat a baking dish lightly greased with olive oil and place the pork chops inside.
  • Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl and mash into a smooth paste.
  • Mix the garlic paste with butter, Parmesan, and parsley until well combined.
  • Spread the garlic Parmesan mixture evenly over each pork chop.
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
