Ingredients

  • For the Pizza Base
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, about 10–12 inches)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing crust)
  • For the Cream (Alfredo) Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • For the Toppings
  • 200–250 g shrimp, peeled, deveined, and tails removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Cream Sauce : Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Step 2: Cook the Shrimp : Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika or chili flakes. Sauté shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked. Remove from heat and set aside (do not overcook).
  • Step 3: Prepare the Pizza Base : Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Transfer to a baking tray or pizza stone. Brush edges lightly with olive oil for a golden crust.
  • Step 4: Assemble the Pizza : Spread a generous layer of cream sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Arrange cooked shrimp evenly across the pizza. Finish with extra Parmesan cheese.
  • Step 5: Bake : Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
