Ingredients
  

  • For the Cajun Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • For the Shrimp Bites:
  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Cajun Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne, black pepper, salt, and cumin. Mix well.
  • Season the Shrimp: Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  • Heat the Pan: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are opaque and blackened crust forms.
  • Garnish and Serve: Transfer shrimp bites to a serving plate. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
