Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • French bread or steamed rice, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Shrimp: Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  • Make the Sauce Base: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté 30–45 seconds until fragrant. Stir in smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and sauté 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Pour in Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, tossing shrimp to coat in the sauce.
  • Finish with Butter and Herbs: Stir in remaining 2 tbsp butter until melted. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and toss gently.
  • Serve: Transfer shrimp and sauce to a serving dish. Serve hot with French bread or over rice to soak up the flavorful sauce.
