- 2 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- For the Skewers:
- 1½ lbs (680g) sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing grill grates)

- 2–3 scallions, thinly sliced
Prepare the Marinade : In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.Reserve 2 tablespoons of marinade for brushing during grilling.
Marinate the Steak : Place steak cubes in a large resealable bag or shallow dish.Pour the marinade over the steak, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours) for maximum flavor.
Preheat the Grill : Preheat an outdoor grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
