- 1 can (5 oz / 140 g) tuna in water, drained
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for tanginess)
- 1 small celery stalk, finely diced
- 2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce (or spinach for variation)
- 2 slices tomato (optional, for freshness)
