Ingredients

  • For the Wraps:
  • 2 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or regular)
  • 8–10 slices of roasted turkey breast (about 6 oz / 170 g)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves (romaine, iceberg, or spinach)
  • 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese (optional, cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • For the Honey Mustard Dressing:
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Pinch of paprika (optional, for a little spice)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Honey Mustard Sauce : In a small bowl, combine Dijon mustard, honey, Greek yogurt (or mayo), apple cider vinegar, and paprika. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess as needed. Set aside.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Wrap Ingredients : Slice the avocado and tomato thinly. Wash and pat dry your lettuce leaves. Lay out your turkey slices and cheese if using.
  • Step 3: Assemble the Wrap ; Place a tortilla flat on a clean surface or board. Spread 1–2 tablespoons of the honey mustard dressing evenly over the tortilla. Layer lettuce leaves, turkey slices, avocado, and tomato on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add shredded cheese if you like.
  • Step 4: Roll the Wrap : Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top. If desired, secure with a toothpick or wrap in parchment paper.
  • Step 5: Optional Toasting (for a warm version) : Heat a pan or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly toast the wrap for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and slightly crisp.
