Ingredients
  

  • For the Turkey Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for searing
  • For the Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Make Marinara Sauce : Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil, add tomato sauce and herbs, simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  • Step 2: Mix Turkey Meatball Ingredients : Combine ground turkey with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 3: Form Meatballs :Shape mixture into 1–1.5 inch meatballs.
  • Step 4: Sear Meatballs : Heat olive oil in skillet and sear meatballs on all sides until golden brown.
  • Step 5: Simmer Meatballs in Sauce : Add meatballs to marinara sauce and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Step 6: Serve : Plate meatballs over pasta, rice, or vegetables. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley.
